Dear 5th grade families,

It was so exciting to meet everyone at Sneak Peek yesterday! I cannot believe how quickly this summer has gone by, but we are looking forward to a fantastic new school year. 😊

Please read this email in its entirety for important reminders for the first week of school and be on the lookout for our weekly Blast that will include lots of important information every Friday throughout the year. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions about any of the information below. Have a wonderful last weekend of Summer, looking forward to seeing students back on Monday!

Daily reminders

Reusable water bottle and one healthy snack
Supplies - please make sure students have TWO 5 subject notebooks
Dismissal changes - update in Pickup Patrol

Agenda

Every student will have an agenda that they will fill out each Monday morning with events, homework, and graded assignment for the week. They are available for $5 (cash only) if your child does not already have one. Agendas should be reviewed and signed by parents each night. We encourage you to sit down with your child each week and add their extracurricular events to their agendas as well.

School Cash

Fulton county has implemented a new online payment system for all online payments - OSP will no longer be active. Please see the attached documents for instructions on registering for School Cash.

Pickup Patrol/Dismissal Changes

Pickup Patrol will be the only way to submit dismissal information and changes (notes and emails will no longer be accepted) so please be sure to register/update your Pickup Patrol information ASAP!

Please also make sure to double check your child's bus stop as some routes have changed (if you have any questions, reach out to Michelle Levine - levinem1@fultonschools.org).

Blue Ridge

Save the date for our annual overnight Blue Ridge Trip on October 8-9th! The cost of the trip will be $175 and more information will be shared at our curriculum night in a few weeks. We are also in need of just a few male chaperones for the trip. If you are interested in chaperoning, please email Mackenzie Long (longm4@fultonschools.org) to sign up or for more information!
